I was born 4-14-1960 and raised in a small community in the Redwoods of Northern California called Jacoby Creek, just outside of the Eureka/Arcata area.

I have been interested in Holistic Heath, Yoga, Tai chi, meditation and nutrition because of my own health background with cancer. In late 1975 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma and went through surgery, chemo therapy and radiation therapy for 18 month and have been healthy ever since. That experience has lead me on my path of healthy healing and helping others on their path of healing, where ever that may lead.

I have been practicing therapeutic massage since 2003 and have been a Yoga practitioner since 1988. I have been trained in and practice many modalities of therapeutic body work, I specialize in connecting with my clients and working in a holistic manor to help clients to optimal health and well being.

I have a varied background, graduating from culinary school in 1981 and working my own restaurants from 1985 to 2003 when I moved on to holistic health. During that time I also started my Yoga practice working with a few teachers and teaching classes when time permitted. I entered Body Mind College of Holistic Health in 2003 and graduated in 2005 as a Holistic Health Practitioner. Also, I have advanced training in “Massage Mastery” , “Holistic Certification” and advanced teacher training from my teacher and friend, Dr Barry Green. I have been teaching massage and Tai Chi at the Body Mind College since 2005.
